How do I get the stock cue ball off my shift rod?
Bought a cool chrome ball to replace it and can't see any allen screw holding the original on. Arrgghhhh... |

On my 02 the manual trans shift knob was held on by a notch in the shift rod. A mighty tug (pulling straight up) removed it. I have read that some are so well pressed on that you might need to put a large open end wrench under the knob and tap up on it with a hammer. Now I got the Hurst shifter, and a screw-on 8-ball.

On mine there is a set screw on the bottom. You will need a small allen wrench.
