Default Been three weeks now.......pix's

Well I've owned the Cruiser for three weeks now and the wallet has taken quite a hit.

Before I bought the PT I was a lurker for some time and took some of the advise I was alerted to. I went thru the brakes both front and rear, rotors and drums as well. I also added a cabin air-filter, plugs, air filter, tires and a new battery. The mail order items have been arriving at a good pace. They include the following;

Taillights and Chrome Bumper Trim...

Chrome Side Trim...

I opted for the PT Cruiser stamped model...

Bra...full grille cover and split headlight/signal...

The TV is mounted...

Under the drivers seat was a great place for the DVD Player...

I opted for the brushed metal visor decal cover-ups...awaiting their arrival. Debating on the factory rear spoiler or not....any thoughts from you guys and gals on the spoiler.[:I]

I've enjoyed tinkering with the Cruiser over these past few weeks....it has helped ease the pain on the Vette loss. I'm still waiting for the title and registration so I can get the old Corvette plates off and add a personal touch to the plates.

Looks good Rick.IMHO I would go with the rear spoiler.
That was the first thing I ordered for the first
Cruiser the 04 came with one.Just think it adds to the car.
That is my opinion, others may vary

Wow!!! Very nice goodies you installed...[^]
As far as adding a rear spoiler, that's a personal decision. Some love the look of the spoiler, while some like the original lines and decide against adding one. There are several styles other than the OEM rear spoiler available and how they are mounted differs. If you are serious about getting one, might consider going to a few PT meet and greets and see how they look up close, if the materials used are top quality and solid, and talk to the owners about their spoiler and if they had any problems, either with the install, any rattles/noise, or any water leakage.

I do like the looks of the factory spoiler.....but do they help in keeping the rear window clear of road dirt etc? I've seen the spoilers that say they do, but the configuration is totally different then the factory type. And I don't find these models as attractive as the factory style. I'm not much worried about installation problems as my bodyshop man will do the job. I can get the factory style spoiler already painted in Stone White for $129.00, which seems to be in the ballpark as far as cost goes. It would be nice to know that the spoiler would provide protection to the rear glass and not just be a visual add-on.[8D]

I don't know if the spoiler helps keep the back window clean
as I've never been without one.I do believe it helps in
high winds.I have read about people having truoble in high
wind and I know I've driven in 50mph wind and had no trouble.
The install is easy, you get a templet and drill 4 holes
screw it on and your done.

Nice!! I love the tail-lights and chrome bumper trim. I've been trying to convince myself that I don't need them since I bought my Cruiser about 2 months ago. Now that I see again how nice they look, I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to hold out!

Mods are like potato chips, you just can't stop at one
once you start.

Incentives don't help the wallet either.

We all see them, buy 30-40 recieve 10% off, buy 80-100 recieve 25% off, etc.

I buy most my mods because of this.

A hundred little charges add up to one big purchase.
