Default Is this car a Limited or DreamCruiser?

I just bought my first cruiser... a pre-owned 2002 Limited with all of the bells and whistles. After more than 3 weeks of searching for the "right car" in my price range I was lucky to find this one w/ 15K miles and in showroom condition. The dealer wanted $15K... I talked him down to $13,300. Their loss, my gain.

My question is, when I ran Car Fax it listed this car as
"2002 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER LMT/DREAM CRSR"
I know this isn't possible because it does not have the name plate inside or the Gold Inca paint (It's Silver). Still it's pretty loaded. Can someone confirm that Dream Cruisers were made without the aforementioned paint job and nameplate?

Definately a Limited...not a Dream. Looks like mine a long, long list of mods ago.

Other than the paint job... is there any significant difference between the two?

Paint on the inside air-bag cover and gauge console are painted to match the outside. Smooth painted bumpers front and rear. Seats, and maybe door panels I believe, have gold inserts and I think the shifter knob is different.

The DreamCruiser's are all fully loaded with pretty much all available options. They all have exterior badges denoting the series and only come in the special color scheme for that year. The Series 1 & 2 editions also came with a numbered dash plaque underneath the electric window controls.

also, the dream cruisers had their own chrome spoked wheels with color matched center caps. dealers (and ebayers) offer the identical wheel with a different center cap (either PRIME or PT CRUISER lettering in the center of the cap).

Mechanically, no. The Dreamer was the first factory PT with painted bumpers. I believe it also had floor mats that said dream cruiser.
