Default Ahoogah Horn

If anyone has installed an Ahoogah horn in a 2002 or 2003 PT, what spot did you pick for mounting? Thanks!

I have a 03/gt and I mounted my under the front cowl where the wiper motor is located. Run the wires along the rubber hood seal and hooked them to the orginal horn wirering inside the right wheel well. works great.

Welcome to the forums, Katie.
I mounted mine vertically on driver's side near the firewall. Another good place is behind the front grill.

I have mounted SEVERAL on 01, 02's, NONE in an 03 or UP! The wiring harnesses are DIFFERENT off the BCM!!

The best place is ON the computer on the firewall- use an existing hole, bored out, and pass the leads through the hood release cable grommet. I wrote the instructions for the procedure that is on ptdiy.net, now a pay site. I first mounted mine on the firewal, passenger side. It melted.

Here are some pics from an 01 to show what I mean: (5 spd shown, hydraulic clutch reservoir shown in new location)
