Default Stupid question

I know this is probably a stupid question for you PT experts but how do you tell if it
is a Limited or base model...etc. [:I]I bought mine used and really don't know. It has alot of options....except sun roof and leather.

If you have hubcaps, it is a Base, I think the Limited only came with leather, that is why my first PT was a Touring, Leather gets too hot in the sun,[:0] I got lucky with my GT, found one that was cloth. Also, I am pretty sure the Base model has drums on the back, Limited should be disc.

If you dont have a decal on teh back it's probably a base. You could also tell by the rims...

Look on the trunk lid, drivers side, lower left corner for the lettering - Limited, Touring or Classic (base), that's the easiest. Wheels are another way. If they are 15" then it's a classic, only touring and limited have 16".
From the description you gave and the items that you are missing, leather and sun roof, it sounds more like a classic or touring. Those two items are pretty standard on the limited.
Hope this helps.[:I]

If you go to chyslers web site. You'll see all models, and model options and prices. You'll notice Base thru GT you can get additonal opptions installed. For example Limited Auto is a option extra money as well as Rear Disc Brake Posi traction. Other things standard like the stero the nicer rims and the leather seats sun roof. Roof racks are optional. Your tinted windows were an option.
Were the real money goes these day is if you put a turbo on your car you can get a Limited now with the turbo. Nice more bucks though.

You may get the info off the body code plate or the vin number. Body code plate is metalplate attached to the passenger side firewall. Good luck

From what I've seen if there is no rear badge, it's a base/classic modle(unless it has been removed for mod purposes)[:I]

You probably have a Touring Edition if you're on 16" wheels, and have a lot of extra options. The 01' Limited did come with rear drums standard, don't know about the 02'-04'.
