Default Nice show today

Today was the first show I entered this year. Happy day, I took second place in a competitive class. I went in the special interest group rather than the Chrysler/Mopar group late model. Wait till I post of pics of the first place winner. YOU NEVER SAW A VEHICLE LIKE THIS. I will try to describe it if possible. The owner bought a New Peterbuilt tracter (the kind with a slepper unit in it for driving across country pulling a 54 foot trailer) Instead of having a trailer he put a custom bed on the back, making it the largest SUV I ever saw. It was twice the size of a BIG hummer not the small one) He converted the sleeper section into a living room, thats right a living room, With DVD, 25" TV, sofa, the works. You can take a nap in the wheel wells. It gets 4.5 miles to the gallon. and he paid $125,000 for the tracter before he started customizing it. My Cruiser looked like a 1/4th scale model next to it. Some people will do anyting to get attention. Gary Pics later in the week, too tired. sleepy time.

Please tell me your car isn't stock...

I take my older car to shows all the time and there is atleast 1 person who entered a stock Pt Cruiser. There is nothing special about it and I see them all the time, whats the point. Same goes for most new stock new cars in car shows. I can walk around the wal-mart parking lot (or my Drive-way )and see stock Pt Cruisers all day long.

Now, it's differnt if the car has alot of work done; body, performance, etc.

Gary,

Congrats on your second place in the car show. I've never seen the kind of truck your talking about but some pretty awesom cars in my shows. I'm about to post about the indoor show I was just at. Got pics too.

Stock, well sort of?
Custom roll pan, stainless steel BTG dual exhaust, custom tail lights, Xenon spoiler, rear "T" handle, painted brake calipers, fiberglass cowl induction hood with dual dragons, barb wire pin stripe, painted side pillars, paint outside mirrors, Ichiban custom foot pedals, neon under dash, custom painted dash covers, custom seats and door panels, leather stering wheel cover, custom made (one of a kind) stainless door panels, new mats, K/N air filter, custom battery cover, wire loom, neon under hood, chrome shortie antenna
I may have forgotten a few dozen items. Gary
Would this qualify for stock class? [:I]

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!![8)]

Special Interest can be a tough class. At a show last year, a show with only first place in each class, a half track with an anti-aircraft gun won the class over several nice PT Cruisers.
