In my neck of the woods, Knightdale NC, the mechanic said it would run me $500 for the timing belt. I am not sure if it included the water pump, idler pulley, tensioner pulley and the oil seals for the crankshaft and camshaft.

I found the complete kit on Rock Auto with DNJ. Dayco never mentions the seals on their website, but did say to change everything as you are there. Being the cheap SOB I am, bought the stuff and did it myself. I have a 88 Shebly Lancer 2.2 intercooled turbo and have done them before but many yrs ago. Same thing and it does help to have the shop manual, so look on Ebay for one and save yourself alot of headache.
VNT and Dino like this.

Mine went at 109,000 miles....while going 75 on the highway. It did no internal damage to the motor. I also bought my parts from Rock Auto and did it myself....That wasn't a very fun weekend....

Had Ttazz' t-belt, water pump, tensioners, belts and hoses done at 103K. The tech set the old belt down next to the new one and we had to look twice to see which was which. I haven't looked at the owner's manual in a while, but it seems to me there was no required mileage listed for the non turbo timing belt? He's got about 117K on him now and I've noticed an minor oil leak. Should have done the crank and cam seals too.

2005 PT Cruiser (base), replaced water pump & timing belt at approx 78k due to water pump leak. That was late 2010.
