Default This may be it for me.

Really bad news.

I rolled my GT three times into the ditch and went through a chain link fence almost landing on the other highway.

The PT is a complete right off.

14 stitches in my head, two black eyes, a really sore neck and back but I was lucky to get out of it alive, no one else was involved.

I've been doing a lot of thinking these past few days, tring to fiqure it out.

Do I need a 220HP car that needs fuel that costs me almost $4US/Gallon?

If I replace it what will the insurance be like now? I've got two young children to feed and educate, how can I justify the expense of this vehicle?

This may be the end of my GT PT days, at least for now.

Feeling real blue right now.

Glad you are ok, sorry to hear about your PT. People may disagree with me, but you can run regular gas in the GT model. The engine management controls will detune the engine to control any knocking. Of course taking your foot out of the gas will do the same thing. My buddy has been using regular gas the past few months in his PT GT without any problems. But he hasn't been flooring it either. I own another car that only uses premium gas, but it's a N/A engine. Needless to say its been sitting in the garage lately because of the gas prices. Can't help you in the car insurance dept, they will charge whatever they want, regardless of your driving record or how safe the car is. The PT in general has been relatively inexpensive to insure.

How did you do that?

I always said someone with a GT would eventually figure a way to roll it.

Get something with more fuel efficeny then the PT. Like a Hybrid.

Well, Im glad you made it out better then some. At least its only stitches right, no broken anythings?

Ah crap man sorry to hear, glad you are ok. Was the accident your fault, what happened? Was this a S1 related accident?

PianT,I'm glad you're OK as well. Sorry that the cruiser is totaled. Sounds like you are at one of lifes crossroads. Whichever way that you go, just make sure that you really believe in that direction. Sometimes the hardest person to be honest with is yourself...
