What did you do to your PT today?

I've had a run of small problems after the Panel PT had the timing belt, water pump, and power steering pump replaced.
Loose clamp on steering hose lost all the fluid in the driveway a week ago.

Yesterday, the fog lights wouldn't go off; and could only momentarily get them off manipulating the multifunction switch.
Battery dead today.
Just jumped her to start, disconnected the fog lights since the bumper will be getting repainted soon anyway.
And ordered a new multifunction switch.
Probably was the original one.

I changed out dash lights, detailing some dirty items under the hood. Its been too cold to do much even in the garage. I've been searching for a 5spd GT PT. but I'll probably continue my search in the spring.

Where are you at; and what is your criteria for a 5-Speed GT?

My daughter drove the wheels off my poor little PT Vert for several months, and I didn't have time to clean it up before the "big storm" of December 2022 hit. The car cover I had on it froze and ripped to pieces a year ago. So during the big storm this December, some water got in. And all the spilled french fries in the floorboard got moldy.

Anyway, I cleaned the car up today, dried it out and fixed it a new place of honor in the backyard. And I put on a new "waterproof" car cover I got from Amazon. It's a little loose on top due to the lower convertible roofline. But it's okay for the price.

Bought this used Pioneer AVH-491BHS stereo head. The Android-based ATOTO stereo I have in my PT now is just too hard to control while cruising down the road. This Pioneer is very similar to the AVH-5700BHS I have in my Charger Dayton. These are easy to operate and will work with a steering wheel remote.

One of the 1st Gen PT GT rims on my Vert corroded through in the "middle" beneath the tire, not along the bead. I've never seen that happen before.

Anyway, I got a replacement wheel from Dennis Boucher at PT Cruiser Warehouse in North Carolina. He's still selling off some of his PT stuff on Facebook. I'm going to the tire shop this afternoon to get in mounted.

I saw a nice 2005 on the web yesterday.
But, I can't seem to locate it at this very minute.
I think that it just popped up as a PT Cruiser Page that I am registered at.
Will post it when I find it.

I finally replaced my rear window wiper grommet. Unfortunately, now I have a couple of interior trim pieces with broken clips.

Replaced my multifunction switch today.

The fogs had been staying on.
So, once I recharged the battery, I pulled both fogs - waiting to have the bumper repainted any way.

Replaced the missing and/or destroyed shifter bushings with Booger Bushings, only on the transmission side. The cables were held onto the shift levers with zip ties. The shifter seems to be okay, but I'll check it when I take the drivers seat out to be repaired.

Also drained the coolant, which was some dark brown/black mixture of who knows what. I've got just distilled water in it right now so I'll drain it again after I run around in it for a bit, then add fresh Zerex G05.
