Default Brakes boredom ambition and mission creep

I never cease to be amazed by the evolution of a project and mindset during a problem...
So, after getting tired of having my tires repaired (actually wheel bead area resealed)
I bought some nice, new aftermarket wheels.
After installing said new wheels, I was unhappy with a new clicking sound. After investigating I come to the conclusion the brake pads are dangerously worn.

Fine fine... I'll order new pads.
Weelll I might as well order ceramic, better than the usual organics without the mess of the all out metallics...
.... Weeellll, as long as I'm doing the brakes... Let's get some drilled and slotted rotors.
So, the new rotors are sitting on the front seats waiting installation.

Weeellll.... The caliper doesn't want to compress so I can load the brakes into their new home...
As long as it's apart.. I'm not really happy with those crappy looking calipers with my new wheels and beautiful vented rotors...I might as well get some red powder coated calipers..

Another week goes by, waiting for calipers to arrive.

Weeellll... I'm waiting and the internet is so accessable...I might as well order the braided stainless steel brake lines....I was never really happy with the idea of new wheels, drilled and slotted rotors, and powder coated calipers with those ugly, plain lower performing brake hoses...

I hope the USPS can get these parts to my door before I come up with another excuse to order something...

The brain is a powerful creation that can convince you of almost anything... Especially when your oem wheels leak air.

Beers and cheers

Oh, don't get started.... After writing that thread, I already thought about doing the control arms and putting them in the sand blaster cabinet...I think I may need a leash.

Well...I admit I have the modify everything bug. Lol
My 'Cuda wasn't built for a big block 440 either, but I couldn't let that hamper my enthusiasm. Lol
My overriding theory seems to be, if they built it, I can make it better.
