My power door locks just all of a sudden quit working? They were working just fine and I had not had any problems at all with them what so ever? I have a 2006 Base PT Cruiser and it DOES NOT have any remote key fobs. It just has the LOCK - UNLOCK buttons on the drivers and passenger doors. I looked in my owners manual for a fuse and all it was showing was a fuse in the power distribution compartment out underneath the hood. I checked it, and it is fine. Is there a relay located somewhere for the power door locks that could be bad? What can I check next to find my problem? Oh....my back rear trunk release button also quit working at the same time that the power door locks quit working. I know that they work together in the circuit. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank You

Fuse #10, 20 amp in the TIPM for power door locks on my 2008 PT.
Check your Owner Manual for power door lock user programmable features. |

On my 08 PT (canbus) there is no power door lock relay as such... the door lock and unlock drivers are located in the instrument cluster. IIRC, your 06 is also canbus so it may be the same.
Before getting into the wiring, etc., check the programming of your door locks as per your owner manual. |

I would suggest cleaning the ground contact at G201. It's located on the lower dash lip close to the OBD2 port.
Does everything else work? Dashlights, horn, dome, both headlights, etc.

Has the G201 ground contact been cleaned?

Sorry, I have been off track working on this problem for a while. I will try and clean the G201 ground connection next. Everything else seems to be working just fine. As I stated before....my Cruiser never did have any keyless remote fobs with the car. I have power door locks but they are manually operated buttons inside of the car. Question: would my car still have a RKE module even though it has no remote key fobs for the power door locks? Would there be a bad relay located somewhere that needs replacing?
