Im getting the Blitz Dual TT. Got it from Hector (Exhaust Depot).
I was sold on it when I found out the time is automatically set by the unit by sensing the level of boost.
And it has that little screen that can be mounted anywhere.
Hector's comes with a wire harness for the PT.

I also have the Blitz DTT DCII. Very easy to install and as RobGT said it can be mounted anywhere. It has a peak boost screen that comes in handy. The only thing I do not like about it is that it does not display boost in PSI. But I have another boost gauge so it is not that important. Got mine from Hector.

I also use the Blitz dual unit. I also got it from Hector at exhaust depot. It has many nice features not the least of which is that the display is separate from the computer piece. Mount the computer piece under the dash, and put the display wherever you like it. I have no experience with the greddy unit but from the pics I have seen the display and the computer are all 1 piece. Looks nice, but it also looks like finding a good place to mount it will be more difficult. Blitz unit either the FATT (Full auto Turbo Timer) or the DCII (dual unit) has boost gauge (they're right only displays Kpa) as well as the Turbo timer integrated together. The boost gage in the timer has a peak hold on it as well. Very handy for adjusting and monitoring max boost settings. I also have an autometer boost gauge installed. I mounted my Blitz display on a bracket above the rear view mirror. BTW the Blitz unit comes in either silver or Black too. (I ordered black) It makes a nice HUD (heads up display) It was the first electronic mod that I did to the cruiser and easily one of the best.

How easy is the Blitz(from exhause depot) to install? What does it consist of? What tools do you need? And most importanly, could someone that doesnt know everything about cars intall it themselves?

Mr.Blonde, for the Blitz unit, you connect 3 wires to a wire harness under the steering column and 2 ground wires or 1 ground and one wire to the shifter as a safety. You will also need to run a line for boost to the engine. Depending on the unit you buy the boost line may not be needed. I would say with the direction from Hector the average PT owner could install the TT in about an hour. Your will need splice taps (ED supplies them), pliers, electrical tape, screw driver and a knife to cut a vacuum line. I tapped into the line going to the throttle body. There are several holes to get to the engine. Just share one of the ones already there. There is several ground points around the fuse box. Some say the TT is not really needed but for the cost and simple installation I feel it is a good investment.

The greddy unit has an auto feature, but in order for it to work you need to tap it into the speed sensor.
Blitz does not need speed sensor to kick in the auto feature.

I am currently putting together a CD so i can ship with the TT. You get to hear my manly voice narrating a full install on a srt-4. I will also describe the GT install at the same time. Install is almost identical. If you can install a car radio, then you should have no issues with this.

Turbo Timer is installed!! Approx. 30 mintues.
Works great...glad I went with this model.
Love the LED bar boost gauge and the Auto feature.
Looks SO COOL when you hit the gas. Thanks Hector.
Alan, Thank you VERY much for making the bracket!
Worked out perfectly.
I put it in the corner of the windshield as you can see.
My new mirror was in the way so I couldnt mount it there.
Happy Birthday to me!! My girl got me the mirror.
Thanks Again!!
