Now I'm REALLY confused. Thanks guys and girls.

Hey scrib: What badges DOES it have? Does it have a GT badge? Since it doesn't have the high output badge then it HAS TO BE the 180HP model.

HEY everybody . . . Am I right?

For the 2004 model year, the "best" turbo equipped cars have a HO badge. For 2003, only the GT and Tangerine Dream Cruiser have turbos, which are 215HP.

limited edition with turbo option is 180hp. GT wich are all turbos are 220hp. Like was said earlier do your own homework, sales people dont know squat. All thay care about are the numbers. Look for either a limited badge or the gt badge on the lift gate. If it is limited check for the turbo OPTION.

If it has the Auto with no Auto-Stick, then it's the 180 and not the 215.Also, I agree with ptgt, if it's not a GT, then it's by default a 180 model.only way to get the 215 is to step up to the GT or Dream Cruiser.

ok to get to the bottom of this.
the 2003 gt is 215hp no highoutput badge.
the 2004 gt's and special edition cars will have the Highoutput badge to distinguish it from the turbo lite cars.

the "only" way to get the 215/220 hp engine is with the GT's or the special edition cars.

the turbo light cars are 180hp, no high output badge's.

stage 1 is different for 2003 cars vs 2004 cars.

Are you serious? They told you it was 215HP???? and it's really 180HP??

If that is true, I am amazed at the stupidity of your dealer for not knowing about this.

I hope they don't give you the 'Well did you get it in writing?' routine.
