Default engine codes

I got an PO 344 code the other day . So I got a Camshaft Position Sensor & installed . Ran GR8, now I got it again when I did the Key cycle ,I got PO344 and PO633 ?? . Is it reading something that is on my ECM from things i've done. Now I did have the Tranny Beefed up . Some say it might be a wiring problem , ANY Ideas about this ? keeps going into Limp Mode

You have to take off the negative battery cable for about 5 minutes if you want to reset the computer and get rid of any old codes. You might be seeing what was stored before you changed sensors.

No such Luck I have an OBD2 code scanner and Cleared the codes after Install wires look a little worn so this weekend I'll get them checked .About a year ago had a Company in Baltimore replace Turbo ,wastegate,Exhaust header and some wiring They kept my Car 2 1/2 months. They also did a Butcher Job on wiring to the tune of an Arm and Leg (live and Learn ) They talked a good Service And they have an Add on this Forum . When all was done I only had 2Lbs of Boost and screwed up wiring twisted together and Taped up .They couldn't even tell me what kind of Turbo they installed only said its the same that they used in BMW's . I ended up getting Hammer Automotive to correct it . They are still finding wires taped up. But Now I'm putting out 14-17lb of Boost without the Bottle .

Kick me in the BUTT Big time. I replaced the Camshaft position sensor , checked the wires and connected and locked Harness . I failed to notice that the connector didn't go all the way in. Well it slipped out far enough to throw the PO344 code and enter Limp Mode . That was the problem

You might say I though it was locked in . Only vthing i can figure is the water seal Gaskets were holding it in and then hit a bump or what ever and slipped to cause code . Its Running now with no Problems
