But your 2001 did have two ports on the lines as this picture shows and it's exactly how mine is.

i have a hvac/plumbing company, we charge non blended freons/ r-22 etc, threw the low side, is this freon blended??, as with the blended oils/freon is where as we charge threw the high side, and as a liquid? thanks in advance, and the picture above looks like hes charging threw the low side, the larger line of the two is how we decipher in residential/commercial, i'm sure its the same here, i know the pressures run the same as a r-22 system, 50-60 low side 120 plus high side? would love to know what Chrysler wants the superheat to be or sub-cooling, as that's the most accurate way to charge as outside temp, have alot to do with charging pressures...superheat is a home-run if anyone knows that would be great!!! I have to do a little research, i already found the saturation temps for r-134a, have a PT chart on my phone with 50 different freon blends and there saturation temp already equated just match up the pressure, than the rest of the math is simple as pie!!

Looked at the post and I already found the high side port. My problem is how the heck to I get my fat hands and arms in there. Tried top and bottom access. I can hear the compressor engage the fan turns on but the air is a bit warmer than it should. So I assume just need a bit of juice. Can I just run the low side of my manifold gauge and hope the high side is ok or is there a trick to getting to the high side port???

I know this is really old but it may help others looking for the high pressure port. This is on my 2004 turbo. Looking down at the power steering reservoir it is between the reservoir and radiator. You can also start at the low pressure port on follow the line down about 14 inches and it is next to this line. Hope this helps.
