Did you ever check the coil? My understanding is those codes indicate trouble at the coil - and you should be checking the coil and upstream of the coil (wires going into the coil, maybe ASD etc). Everything you have done (plugs, wires) appears to be downstream of the coil.

I checked the wires they are all around 4,000 which is apparently good. I am going to go buy a coil pack and try that next if not I read somewhere about the camshaft sensor.

Another member tried to fix P0351 by replacing the coil and for that member it did not fix the problem. I would suggest checking everything including the ASD relay and ASD circuit before replacing the coil. The camshaft and crankshaft sensor has an affect on the ASD circuit.

The coil pack consists of 2 coils molded together. High tension leads route to each cylinder from the coil. The coil fires two spark plugs every power stroke. One plug is the cylinder under compression, the other cylinder fires on the exhaust stroke. Coil number one fires cylinders 1 and 4. Coil number two fires cylinders 2 and 3. The PCM determines which of the coils to charge and fire at the correct time. The Auto Shutdown (ASD) relay provides battery voltage to the ignition coil. The PCM provides a ground contact (circuit) for energizing the coil. When the PCM breaks the contact, the energy in the coil primary transfers to the secondary causing the spark. The PCM will de-energize the ASD relay if it does not receive the crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor inputs

Just put new wires in, cleared codes, fired it up. Still the same thing as soon as I turn the key those 2 codes come up P0351 and P0352 the car starts misfiring and shaking and the fan comes on. This is frustrating. I guess I'll try the coil next.

Well, what the hell did you do to solve the misfire? You haven't told us and maybe whatever you did will work for KandyKid.

As I have written repeatedly, my car had a P0304 misfire. It turned out to be the intake gasket.

I don't think that would have anything to do with the coil circuit which is what is codes KandyKid is throwing. As his car is an '04 GT, I would not have been surprised if he had an intake gasket problem. They do blow out at #4. In fact, the manifold I pulled at the yard Sunday had both gaskets (intake to plenum and intake to head) blown/torn at #4. I don't see this as being Kid's problem.

I would (as I often do) go back to Steve's post with the codes. http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/...tml#post608365

Since the coil didn't do it, I would start tracing backwards from there. Testing to wiring to the coil, from the ASD relay and from the PCM.

At the end of this thread one member found the problem to be at the PCM connectors or the PCM. Check all the connectors at the PCM.
