Purchased a 2008 PT Cruiser, this past Friday. It's just an additional backup vehicle. I'll be adding a few touches to it.

Buffing the head lights. Subject to replace them.

Swapped the stock 15" steel wheels, with my '05 Turbo 16" wheels. I've also ordered tint to match the 20% factory glass tint. I do not like the non-tinted windows, one bit. Looks fine on the convertibles, but terrible on the wagons. I know some do not like them, but disappointed it did not include the factory trim spears. I may consider adding them. In addition, I'll likely be swapping out the grille and adding the factory fog lights.

Located details on variation between models.

Cleaning up the wheels.

Added an exhaust sleeve to the awful looking stock exhaust tip. Significant improvement.

Ordered a grille for the 2nd gen, similar to the Dream.

The more I see of those wheels the more I like their look on our PTs.

Ha! Thanks for the edit, buddy. Yes. They aren't bad design. Definitely better than those 15" steel wheels. =)

I have a set of chrome spears that I pulled off a 2006 Turbo for trade or resell. If you are interested, send me a PM.

I like the boot. There's a few convertibles running around here in town now, but I've yet to see one with a boot.
