I have a 2006 pt cruiser 4 cyclinder. The check engine light came and it went into safety mode . the car wouldn't go any more then 25 MPR and my RMP hit 3 to 4. I checked the codes and it read that it was my can shaft sensor. Okay well I changed that. And it doing the same thing again. Someonw help me pls. Could it be my 02 sensors . I've cleaned my spark plugs n all. Any ideas . I dont understand.

Dwayne, I've figured out how to route the monitor coax wire through the space between the upper and lower dash without doing any modifications to the center radio dash trim unit so I won't need a stand by unit. The last photo in my ongoing, "SOOO BIG gets a back up camera", thread shows the monitor and coax temporarily in place. Thanks for always being the go to guy for PT parts. Price

Dwayne, everything's progressed well on my back up camera project, except finding a second plastic center radio dash trim unit.
A hand made metal mount base, hidden mounted under the radio dash trim unit, holds the original monitor swivel mount. It's positioned at eye level so your eyes never leave the road. It'll flip down or raise.
The mount by itself doesn't challenge the integrity or fit of the radio dash trim as it's thin enough to fit between the dash itself and the unit. The problem is that I must slot the upper edge of the plastic on the top to accommodate the 5/32" coax wire monitor wire. All other wires are hidden. I don't want to butcher my existing assembly with that 5/32"slot so I have to find another.
Do you happened to have a decent radio dash trim unit, 2005, taupe, in your stash you could let go? Colors immaterial, I could repaint silver to matches instrument and air bag panels.
