Question Re: PT Cruisers of S.E. Michigan

Weather has been crazy, that's for sure. Hope we get some nice days
soon, so that we can meet up at sonic drive in.

That soon, I sure hope not. At least you can save money on watering
your grass.

Chuck Update...June 4th having Stents placed in 4 Arteries, 90% closures and this is Considered Heart Failure....No bypass surgery because I had Radiation on Lung back in 2006, research says former bypass people that had radiation on their lungs died earlier than those that didn't so no Surgeon will operate....who knew.
So its going to be Stents for now,,,I'm 77 years old FWIW. Over night stay then back in the PT...

On a more serious note I've noticed a strong engine vibration at Idle on my 2001 PT, and just replaced Spark Plugs .048 Gaps & New Cables. engine running great but still has the vibration, is this normal ??? 108700 miles of easy Cruisinnnnn.

Chuck from Plymouth...

You should check the motor mount struts. Its a common issue, as the rubber deteriorates with time and use. If one is bad, change both the upper and lower struts. Then tilt the motor to get the 4.7" dimension, then tighten the bolts.

Chuck, I am doing good. The weather has kept everyone from planning
much. I sure hope the weather stays good for awhile. Let us know if
there is a place to have a little meet & greet out your way. I think a few
of us would cruise out that way. I think we are going to get together at Sonic
Drive in at 14 & John R soon . I will keep you posted. Darin has a new PT.
and its pretty nice. I have been busy so I have been a little behind on
everything.

Doug

Glad you are back posting and taking care of what is "more serious." Maybe someday my PT will make it back to Michigan someday, but I'm not holding my breath.
