Sounds like fun.

They should be doing 3 pulls?
The pull is always to set thing up or base line. The second run shows actual figures with a engine that is up to operating temperatures.
Third run confirms/compares the DELTA or first run with the second. Then you average out all three. But most will look at all their pulls and pick the 'FREAK" highest HORSE POWER run to boost about.

Yep. You guys need to move this to Broken Bow or Tahlequah. Midwest City is too far a drive for me.

I never thought I'd do it, but I've also decided to pull the trigger on some dyno runs. I've been talking to my brother-in-law that used to run a dyno and he's hooking me up with the guy that owns it. I'm going to just let him take my PT and do a series of runs before and after I install the NitroStick camshafts.

There's a lot that goes into getting consistent runs. And I figure it will be best just to let this guy do them all himself since I've never used a car dyno before. I don't like spending money on something like this since I don't race and don't plan to. But if I'm going to the trouble of installing performance camshafts, I might as well figure out what I am getting. Look forward to some cool dyno printouts once I get this done.

And have fun in Midwest City. Just think extreme eastern Oklahoma next time around.
NitroPT and myckee like this.

Hey Handy!

What ya complaining about??
A whole bunch of guys from the NEO (NE Oklahoma) MOPARs are coming!!!
THat's farther away than you!
You'd have to do what I did...with the lack of local PT activity.
Get a bunch of the local Cruisers to join the MOPAR group...creating a voting block for shows and what not.

I'm even the Central OK MOPAR webmaster. See my "handy" work at...

Last Monday, I left Dayton, Ohio (Kettering) at 8:30 AM.
Drove across I-70 to Joplin; then down I-44 to OKCity.
I was home by 9:00 PM.
And old man shouldn't be able to do this!

Cool Re: DYNO NIGHT!

...and Handy,
My guess is most of the MOPAR Club guys just have their cars for kicks, and throw stuff on them to brag about.
None that I know are gear heads, even close to what Nitro does.
So, jumping on a Dyno is just another "cool" thing to do with your "Muscle car".
They will do very little or nothing with the information.
