No more Nexium

I traded in my PT a few weeks ago. That side of the garage is now occupied by a Ford. I want to thank all for the comments, suggestions and instructions for keeping my PT going.

Re: Changing Transmission Fluid

Sounds like a smart way to do it Smitty. Not many places do anything but flush. They have no answer to what get stuck or released from the filter, or where it goes.
As for StreetCruisers comment,...

Re: Changing Transmission Fluid

Re: How much MOOLA have you invested/spent on Your PT

4 tires, $260, 2 headlight bulbs $30, some wipers $40, rotors and pads $120, and $200 something for the Magna Flow catback. Oh yeah, $60 for a battery. I think I have 52,000m on it.

Re: Yet another reason Chrysler is suffering...

It ain't just Chrysler. I brought my new 93 Ranger in for a warranty repair. When I picked it up, the steering wheel and seat had dirty grease on them. The service manager went out of his way to find...

Re: Brake Drum Removal

The drum may have a groove in it, from the shoes. Something as small as
.020 groove will have the shoes out too far to pass the non worn part of the drum. Hence, they will rotate, but not come off...

Re: Bought used pt, now I find it's been wrecked, airbags maybe not replaced?

I would bring the whole transaction to the attention of the States Att'y General and Dept of Motor vehicals. Even if you don't make out well, it may have enough collateral damage to make you feel a...

Re: A question for the carnuts...

No razzing. I did have a neighbor that would wash his car as soon as he saw me doing mine. What they do see as odd is when I rinse the underside during the winter months.

Re: MOON EYES DISC WHEEL COVERS ?

I had a set, off ebay, and they rusted. They also moved on the wheel, and cramped the valve stem over quite a bit. I put the old ones back on.

Re: Rattle/squeek in rear passenger area - help!!

I found two sources in mine. One was the base model hubcaps, the ones with the "two stage nut removal". The cap nuts get a little loose and the assembly makes noises. The other was the rear sway bar...

Re: Why buy a PT instead of HHR?

We have one of each. The base PT with just an automatic was 17K in 2002.
The base HHR, with just an automatic was 13K in 2007. The HHR has more standard equipment than the PT did. The fit and...

Re: Tire Dressing

In reference to what Candyman posted on the MSDS's. I believe that the specs are for the unapplied product in the aerosol can. The propane and isobut are probably used as propellants. Wanna empirical...

Re: Wax remover for black plastic

I'd try wiping it with a piece of bread first. Won't look as weird to your neighbors. That fails, get the neighbor's dog over there.

Most info seems to say the units boost and regulate your system voltage (what ever it is at any given time) to a steady 14 volts. I've seen these used in field radios to compensate for a dying...

Re: Dealer price gauging

Gouging and speculation are two of my favorite discussions. If you want 20K for a used 1990 Ranger, should I consider it gouging? If speculation is bad, have you ever bought anything with the hopes...
