Default Trunk Rattle

Just got my system installed today, will be posting a separate thread with pics later after the storm passes through (im guessing probably Sunday or Monday).

Anyway, anybody have advice on eliminating or reducing trunk rattle? When I put a little pressure on the trunk, the rattle subsides, so I'm thinking this would be an easy "fix"? The subs face towards the rear, would it make any difference to turn the box around to face the front?

Thanks in advance for any advice/help.

Think it's the jack? I wrapped a rag around mine.
Pushing just cuts down vibration.

There is an easy fix, remove the subs... lol... j/k

A good solution would be to remove the trim panels and carpet and apply a product like dynamat or fatmat Sound Deadener Products FatMat Dynamat Xtreme Alternative this would help remove the vibrations, anything that vibrates can make noise, the sound deadening mat stops the metal from vibrating. It can also reflect the sound and the it won't be absorbed by the metal and could make it a little bit louder. If you do install dynamat, fatmat, or a similar sound deadening mat make sure to clean the metal really well and try not to trap alot of air when laying down the product.

Facing the subs forward may help a bit but they may not sound as loud.
