Default Speaker issue

I had a pioneer deck, Infinity components up front, infinity 6x9's in back and an infinity amp installed at a shop today in my 05 convertible. I picked it up as they were closing and was on a business call so I didn't listen to it before I drove away. The rear speakers distort horribly with any bass. Is this an issue with the factory panels or did they botch some wiring?

There is something wrong with the set up. Advise is to return to where you got it installed and have them correct it.

We have lots of good helpful information to all member's on this forum.
This is your 1st post so you may also want to go to the new member's area and start a new member thread.

I have to guess because you didn't say.
If you are replacing stock speakers with upgraded ones, they shouldn't distort at the same sound (listening) levels as the old ones. If that's the case, something's wrong. But if you are just trying to push the envelope and find new ways to make your ears bleed, then yea. You could be making some distortion.

It was just bad settings, they had the bass boost on the amp turned all the way up. Sounds nice and clear now. I would like to add a little low end to fill out the sound though. Has anyone installed the Kicker or Sound Ordnance slimline powered subs. If so, Did it fit under the seat? I don't need the booming bass or to lose any trunk space. Thanks in advance.
