Default Wired for sound?

Does anyone know for sure if Chrysler threaded the wires for the rear woofer speaker in the rear quarter panel even if you didn't get the option of the speaker itself.

I really like that 8" Bazooka speaker you can see below.

If your car didn't come with the mopar sub the wires arn't there. I recently took out the entire interior to put in sound damping and there are no wires for a sub in place. you would still need to get an amp to run the sub anyway.

Thanks...just trying to see if I could save a few steps when wiring it in. Bazooka is on the way, and yes, now I have to find an amp to run it.

It's called Bazooka Nos 8. Just do a search for "Nos8" on the web.

I'm not into all that stuff, but from the booklet:

Woofer size 8"
Voice Coil Size 2" High Power/High Temp
Magnet Size 36oz
Freq Response 39-1500 hz
Efficiency 102 db
Power Handling 6-300 watts/channel

Hmm, I dunno, are you sure you want to blow away several hundred on looks and no sound. Yes, of course you're going to have a good bit more base, but why not either save money and buy a regular sub that will push the same amount of watts, or spend the same amount and get a whole lot more bang for your buck.

With the sub and amp above, you will almost double the output, and save a couple hundred dollars. Just a thought.

If my N/A pt will never keep up with riceburners i can atleast make it look and sound like it.

I think someone else on this forum has said that too.

With that sub and amp combo I linked above, the ricers won't even touch you. You'll be making their teeth vibrate when you roll up next to them. They will never see that NOS tube unless you mount it in the passenger seat.
