Ok, here it goes. Parts purchased from Amazon;
Pioneer AVH0390BS hind sight would have bought the AVH-490BS because it was a larger viewable screen for back up and DVD with buttons below. Oh well....
MicroBypass allows many greyed out features on radio to now become active
Esky back up camera in chrome 170 degree with night vision
SiruisXM module with antenna
PAC - CHY4 wire adapter for can-bus with factory Boston Acoustic amplifier
Metra 95-6533B radio install face plate for double din radios
Metra 40-CS10 antenna adapter

DISCONNECT THE POSITIVE FROM THE BATTERY BEFORE STARTING THE REMOVAL AND INSTALL ................. VERY IMPORTANT ! ! !

Metra radio adapter and face plate installed to doner face plate I got from U-Pull. See how it hides the cut out mouse ears on the original. I elected to do a wrap after the face plate was completed. I transferred all the vents and other mounted goodies.

Remove the original center bezel. There are 2 hidden screws in the vent at the bottom...... Don't remove these you will break the bezel or dash mounts.

Once the 2 screws are removed grab the bezel from the bottom. There are 2 slots that you can use a screw driver to pry the bottom. Once the bottom is loose pull the bezel STRAIGHT back. Instead of removing the 4 screws for the HVAC controls and taking a chance of breaking one of the mounting tabs. Each cable (color coded for the corresponding knob) Remove the cable clip ins with a flat blade screw driver. The BLACK cable will go to the BLACK rotary, WHITE cable to WHITE rotary.

Remove the wiring for the Clock, the center hazard bar and the wire connector for the HVAC. Remember there are RED lock pins on the wire connector latch. The one on the HVAC is kind of hidden so look for it. Wiring connectors remove the bezel can be completely removed.

Remove the 4 Torx head screws that hold the factory radio to the dash panel. The radio should slide right out. Unclip the radio wire connection and the radio antenna.

PAC CHY4 adapter harness completed. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE SHEET that comes with the PAC. I also elected to install a MicroBypass (the thingy at the top of the harness with 3 wires on it)(from aftermarket radio for park brake sense so greyed out features on the Pioneer will now work). The PAC is a DIRECT plug into the car's factory harness....

Fitting the radio required trimming the bottom support plastic cross brace. There is a metal brace behind the plastic. I used a Dremel type tool with a FLUTED shaping bit. It looks loke a drill bit with raised edges for carving. A cutoff wheel would not fit in the closed in areas. The shaping bit cut like butter but there were a LOT of shavings. In the pict I have the Pioneer somewhat installed and ADDED an extra chassis ground wire to the screw that goes into the metal cross bar..... extra grounds won't hurt.

I found it much easier to do my work with trimming and routing wiring by removing the upper vent (the black dual port thingy above the radio pocket). It just unsnaps and pulls right out. Makes life a lot easier with that thing out of the way. Because of the radio location to the face plate / bezel, I had to trim the upper part of the radio pocket with the shaping bit. You can see the red label on the Pioneer to see how much I trimmed and how the radio now sits in the pocket. I used a piece of tape as a guide and removed about 2 inches side to side. Reason is, the top area slopes downward and has a down facing flange with ribs and with that in place the radio would NOT fit flat to the dash nor far enough rearward.
