Default New here,hi. performance questions

gotta new 2008 LX and was wondering what i could do to it, as in performance wise, it is an automatic, red.
would like a new muffler, rims. but besides that
some more kick, but im used to Subaru outbacks, since my 98' outback was
in an accident recently, transitioning to Domestic vehicles is hard for me.
and trying to be careful with this car.

1. what type of ecu upgrades are there
2.turbo or supercharger
3.spoiler

those 3 are what im interested in. thanks

OK i don't know a lot,my 06 is a total wuss ---but from what i have read ,, it is a pretty expensive add on to go turbo,,,,,, probably cheaper to just get a turbo--the computer is not much help either,,,, the muffler and air intake will sound better but its not going to tear down the track---i guess im saying a auto in a PT is just not a HP car but I could be and most likely am wrong

Good driving habits, proper tire inflation and car properly tuned. As the car breaks in mpg should come up a bit. Any other claims are inaccurate and some are downright bogus.

Not any turbo or supercharger options. You can go turbo by throwing SRT4 turbo parts on, but you'd need to replace the rods inside the engine. The only worthwhile power adder without getting crazy is to add Crane Cams. About $450 for the parts, plus install if you don't DIY.

The #10's are the tried-and-true power adder for an unmodified N/A. the part number is 193-0010. Do a web search to shop around. I think they retail for $500+, but I know they've been found as low as $400.

Agree completely.
Exhaust and intake - while they may not help a lot, do help performance a bit, and don't hurt mileage - I get 26+ OVERALL for 70,000 + miles...
