Solenoid Pack Gasket Replacement Only?

Can the transmission shift solenoid pack gasket be replaced alone or must one replace the pack also?
All I find are examples and comments about replacing both.

You, you can just replace the gasket. I've done it several times on the 41TE tranny like your 2002 PT has.

But here's the deal, these gaskets can be year and car model specific. Some have specific holes blocked while others do not. When you get a new gasket, be sure to compare it to the old one and assure it's exactly the same.
