Interesting...but what does it mean???
I've had lousy mpg with my 28G....after 15K, my _AVG_ is 17 mpg. Well, I took her to the dealership for routine servicing, and installation of an air intake system, and rented a Cruiser for the day.
Well, I've never driven any other Cruiser, except for a brief test drive a year ago.
WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
The rental responds to acceleration in a way mine never has. To get onto the freeway, I've had it floored with a very sluggish response, and on Cruises with other Cruisers, I can never keep up with this fast acceleration needed to merge into traffic. I'm just astonished at the difference.
I immediately called the dealership to tell them before I return the rental, I want someone there to drive both of them around the block and see what I'm talking about. I'm sick of whining about it! They've put her on the diagnostic computer countless times and everything checks out. No TSBs pertaining to my build date.
I don't know what it means, or if it's fix-able, but it is such a relief to find that there is something wrong, it's not just a "girl" complaining about lousy mpg.
