Still working my way...

Now, PB has blanked ALL the IMG codes on the right side of the page but by clicking on the pic and clicking on the "copy image address" I'm still able to bring the picture over here.

So the forum has no plans to figure out a way to fix all the images that are missing? To me the images are a critical part of showing how to repair a problem with the Pt Cruisers.

The issue would be that all of those photos were posted to PhotoBucket by other users, some of whom are no longer a part of the forum, or may no longer be alive. How would the forum be able to get those photos from other PhotoBucket users? But I agree a lot of valuable information is probably lost.

I was looking at CANDYMANS info today to use a few pictures he posted....GONE!

All mine are mostly GONE!

I was sent this today from a friend.

Photobucket accused of blackmail after quietly requiring users to pay $400 a year to hotlink

As I've already said, I predict Photobucket will come out with a new lower price option for 3rd party hosting of images. It's all part of the plan. Or so I still believe it is today.

And my sweetie is still visible from Photobucket. Used the "direct" link from the right side of image page.

Yup! Just like you indicated that the new health bill (Trumpcare, American Healthcare Act) was going to be just fine!

Any of the other members kinda feel like it is "IN YOUR Face" from people that just joined PB to see if they can post pictures or perhaps short lived PB users that have yet to be effected by this disaster that has negatively effected some of us and in different aspects of our normal routine in life?
I understand the words of the thread title but I would more conclude it was for established users of PB to test if they can still post pictures? Maybe not? I am sure it is just my "sour grapes" and mostly being "pissed" that most all my pictures on this forum are gone!

Hope your not talking about me. I don't remember the exact date I joined Photobucket but it has been a couple years. Over 2500 photo's and 9 video's stored. As I said, they have taken away the "IMG" codes on the right side of the photo's so I can't use their way of transferring photo's to 3rd party sites like here but clicking on the individual picture and then clicking on "copy image address" has let me take that address and place it into the reply on this forum. I don't know if anyone has tried that but I'm trying to pass that information along to any Photobucket users that are having problems. Has nothing to do with "In Your Face". I'm hoping someone will try it and say if it works for them.

I see the company Photobucket made personal changes and replaced long-time chief executive Tom Munro in January 2016.

Photobucket addresses complaints over new policy that charges heavy users $400

But there isn't even a way to contact PhotoBucket electronically (email) you have to either call them or send them mail. What is the likely chance that your letter mailed to them will ever get looked at? Most every company these days has a way to contact them via email.
