My list of must have mods that are affordable and easy to install,

Booger bushings (if you have a manual) ($25)
K&n filter and airbox mod ($40)
Strut bar from ebay ($25)
3m headlight restoratioN kit ($25)
Xenon bulbs ($30 gets you fog, high and low bulbs on ebay)
Junkyard diving (try to find a pt with some mods at local junk yards, I scored many chrome parts for my PT at a yard for hardly anything!)

Thats about all I can think of at the time!

I've been searching for a $20 strut brace for ages, still no luck. They used to be available on ebay but I've contacted the seller(s) directly and they aren't expecting any more stock.

Could be because the front end uni body is supper rigid and is not prone for flex! If it flexed you would probably would see the hood twitch side to side.

Installed the cheap one I found on this site from a member. Soon to test drive, not expecting a huge difference. Cutting the solenoid bracket was a pain w/ just hand tools. My neighbor's band saw was out of order.

Exclamation Re: Strut Tower Brace

Perhaps its more evident in Pt's that are not lowered and have the suspension pieces that some of us have, front and rear sway bars, upgraded shocks/struts/upgraded bushings etc.

If it wont do anything I guess I wont bother.

Drove it a little around town. Really didn't notice any change when making some hard turns. Keep in mind these bars are hollow too. I'll try some highway cruising during the week. Did see my UltraGauge hit 15psi of boost.
