What a difference

Put some new tires on today. The PT rides great.

Let me start off by saying one of the first things I did years ago was lower the PT using Eibach lowering springs. It hurt the ride characteristics. I then went to 17 inch wheels which put less rubber between the road and wheel plus I went for an aggressive high performance tire (Kumho Supra 712), That really hurt, tires were great but really hard ride. About a year ago I went for the Blue gas charged Tokico struts and shocks made for lowered cars. It helped but still not great. Today I put on all season performance tires with a touring tread and plenty of rubber to the road (Falken ZE 912) and it made a great improvement in the ride. My wife says it rides like a normal car now.

i have yet to alter the suspenstion..only cause im waiting for bags but one of my buddys got a slammed ride with hard overinflated tires shitty shocks and i LOVE feeling every bump in the road..sure afterawhile i might get sick of it but when im in someone elses car i think its dope
