you need two outer and two inner tie rods, one of each on each side.
they are not side specific...

yeah I have the tool; I had to buy it for replacing rod ends on my 97 TAURUS; it has all the different 'adapters' but I think I am farming out this job; they can do EVERYTHING All at once; inner outer tie rod ends; ball joints; etc...
getting flustered doing this sh*t any more kctobyjoe |

I decided when I got this 2006 which was a fleet car (bothers me not) and 1xx,xxx miles that everything that wears normally would be replaced; that includes the rear AND front suspension. I want NO SURPRISES down the road; especially at a point usually when I can LEAST afford it! I bought virtually every piece that usually wears and had the good fortune they include greasable joints (I Am a FIRM believer in MAINTENANCE; NOT IGNORANCE)
So spending the few $100 now will give me peace of mind and a new near perfect baseline to go from. It's only logical ;-0 |
